1. People enter the name of companies with many different spellings. It must be very difficult to decide what is a different name for the same company and what is a totally different but similarly named company.
How can I help with this?
How do I report erroneous connections between names and companies?
2. On my profile I have the names of 11 different organizations. How do I indicate which of these I want to get news about?

Hi,
There should be profiles allowed for Colleges, Universities, B-Schools and T-Schools as well. So that they can connect to their alumni, and also attract recruiters for placements and internships on their campus, by giving relevant information and through showing the quality of alunmi they have from that college. This would serve purpose of an online campus recruitment portal as well.
Do give a thought…

Peter, if you edit you history and go to re-enter the company name, LinkedIn will start searching for matches in the Company Profile db.

I thought you all should know, company links do not work correctly. In order to provide a better user experience, this should be fixed. Great service though!

You have annouced Company Profiles, but we (the average LinkedIn customer) cannot add their company. I have sent numerous emails, and your response was to provide the neccessary information; however, to date I have not received a response or do I have a company profile.
What’s Up?

@Ari, and @David,
Thanks for your feedback and patience. I’m currently aggregating company profile requests that I’ve received thus far and so are my peers.
Will keep you posted as soon as we offer the ability for users to submit these directly.
