When I write the Article URL, the reply is always:

“Please enter a valid article URL.” Why is this happening?

The ability for group owners & managers to export a .csv file of all group member either needs to be reinstated so that we can send emails to specific members within the group (such as newly added in past 3 months, not a paying member of organization, age range, etc) and so that we can attach files to those emails.

This has severely reduiced the effectiveness of the LinkedIn group, and my organization may not continue using these groups if the export function can not be reinstated, or some a variety of new communication features are added to the LinkedIn groups (this seems way more difficult than just reinstating the export function).

This is waaaaay too complicated for easy use. I’m a Blogger blogger, and I can’t figure out how to add this widget without it becomeing homework.

How about starting with an icon I can add that links my blog to Linked In or my group?

@Phil – The ability for group owners and managers to download a .csv file no longer exists. I will forward your concern for on to our product manager to consider in future groups ‘Announcement’ enhancements. In the mean while I do see other Announcements directing members to a link on their official group website where they can get the file you wish to distribute.

On June 6th 08 (above) you stated that exporting contacts had not been removed.

I think that it has now.

I need to communicate with my group and the ‘Send Announcement’ feature does not allow me to do so with a file that I need to distribute.

How can I export my group member contact details?

@ Leah- This feature should now be available. Just start typing the first name of your connection on the Compose your message page and a drop down list should appear. Thanks for your feedback!

We love the Share on LinkedIn button but have a question/possible enhancement request. If you select that you want to share with your connections and type in the letter “A” in the “To:” line you only get a subset of your connections and they aren’t organized by last name. How do you retrieve all of your connections whose last name appears under “A” under your contacts tab?
