  2. Thank you for this post. One would imagine that those in the media or creative fields would use LinkedIn to find client resources.

Such resourcefulness and proactivity is impressive.

Hope to read more anecdotes like this. It has the potential to offer ideas to others wishing to market similar services

  3. Great job, Dave!
Social Networks are a key component of most successful branding campaigns. This is due in great part to the viral quality of social media – and because it enhances search engine optimization. As the Chief Creative Officer at Liquid Agency – a Brand Marketing firm in San Jose, CA – I am tasked with helping develop marketing strategies for many diverse clients – lots of whom are heavily involved in online communications. LinkedIn is probably the Social networking site we recommend most often. We feel that it is one of the tools that is emerging as a requirement for successful branding programs. It is a great way to connect with targeted audiences and to find people that may be crucial to a company’s success. I love using it myself – and have found it to be a wonderful business tool…and one that keeps improving.

  4. I’ve found LinkedIn to be an outstanding professional networking destination. Contact cross many lines and it’s amazing how often those lines actually ‘criss cross’, as you discover that two of your contacts whom you thought were totally unrelated actually belong to a common organization, religion, or group.
In the process of promoting my new website (www.EdAutryVoiceovers.com) I’ve found LinkedIn to be an invaluable asset.

    Many thanks,
