@Kristoff- This feature doesn't exist yet. You might try Customer Service to see if there is something they can do manually to locate and modify the comment on your behalf. I'm also forwarding your comment on to our Product Manager as a suggestion for future enhancements. Thanks!

[...] Create a LinkedIn Event for your event – a LinkedIn Event page allows you to post relevant information about your event on LinkedIn (e.g. date, event content, etc.) – LinkedIn members can then indicate whether they’ll be attending, not attending or “interested”. This can be quite useful, as folks often attend events based on knowing whom else will be attending as well. By creating a LinkedIn Event, you’ll receive the benefit of having LinkedIn auto-recommend your event to other members, assuming their profile is a “match” with the profile of your event. Members may also utilize search and find your event as well. More info can be found on the LinkedIn blog page announcing the Event feature.
@Rick- When you click on the 'recommend' button it will send out a network update stating " (Name) has recommended X Conference on X (date). Are you going? 17 hours ago Add comment " This is assuming you have your status updates settings turned on anyway. You will also see it in your own Activity feed module that appears on the right side of your Profile. It will say 'Rick's Activity'. Hope this helps! Dirk

What does the recommend icon for an event do? I see it is highlighted when I recommend an event but what else happens? I read that it would recommend it to my network but I'm not sure how that works. I would appreciate an explanation.

Thanks

Similar to an earlier post, I would like the option of being able to communicate with people who sign up for my event. As the event organizer this would be invaluable.

For example, there is a gentleman who signed up for one of my teleseminars next month and yet he needs to fill out a form at a website to receive the call information. I have no way of contacting him and therefore he will probably miss out on the event.

Thank you
