I have the same problem of not being able to delete my profile in German. When and how will we be able to delete profiles we created in different languages?

It is rather incredible that you cannot delete a profile in another language. Turns out the maintenance is high, and browsers show sometimes multiple languages (headers in French, content in English). I want to remove the partial french profile. This is a must feature to maintain a professional look.

@Claude- I can’t speak to the status but can say that it is currently being reviewed. However, I have forwarded on your comment to the appropriate Product manager. You now have a url for each profile you have created. Even though you can’t remove it you can direct others (in areas you post the URL) so it goes to the Profile of choice. Dirk

Please finally add a feature to delete incomplete languages and/or to change your primary language. the constant switching between the languages is very annoying and unnecessary. for my contacts english is the only relevant language, i’d rather not have the german profile to maintain anymore.

Hello,

When i go to LinkedIn on a french computer, select french for LinkedIn language and do a search for myself, i get the english public profile. How can i see the public profile in french? Is it possible? If not when will it be?

It would be useful to allow unregistered users to see my profile in french…

I have now also created an French version of my profile and really need to make it my primary profile.

Could you please implement this ?

It’s pretty hard to understand why it’s not already done (after 6 month) as it’s a pretty important feature. (the PDF export is useless as it work only with primary langage)

Same as Thierry Gagnon and Hugh above, I’m not entirely satisfied with the multi-language feature and I would like to delete my incomplete profile in French. I really don’t want such an incomplete page to show up amongst linkedin search results.

In a similar note to Thierry, by mistake, I managed to create a Spanish profile by mistake (was going for French), but there’s no delete option…

Also, it would be nice to be able to assign a non-english profile as a default for public profile, which by the comments doesn’t seem to be possible.
