@Patrice,

Well, I'm glad you're on the blog, which is one of three resources that could help you with feature tips. The other two sites I'd recommend you to bookmark are:

1. LinkedIn Learning Center - http://learn.linkedin.com/
2. LinkedIn Customer Support Site - http://linkedin.custhelp.com/

Also, check out 10 simple ways users have derived enormous professional benefit from LinkedIn & its feature set - http://learn.linkedin.com/videos

Hope these help.

Linkedin is a great tool for those who utilize the tool to its potential. There are so many features that are not being used, and more education on how Linkedin can help someone with their networking would be a great tool to add to the website.

LinkedIn is a great way to facilitate effective networking. It is surprising when using LinkedIn you realise what a vast, partly forgotten about network we already have! It can also be useful for establishing new contacts of high potential interest. www.oxfordltd.co.uk

I use 3 contact databases:
1) LinkedIn for email adresses
2) Plaxo for email and phone numbers
3) Outlook contacts for email and phone numbers

If each person could maintain their own phone numbers in LinkedIn, I could get rid of Plaxo and keep my Outlook contacts strickly for non-professional contacts.

It seems so simple to do. What are you waiting for? If I change my phone number, I do not want to notify hundreds of contacts.
