Say ‘Namaste’ to LinkedIn in Hindi

The needs of our members continue to change rapidly in the pandemic. More than ever, LinkedIn is dedicated to creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce by adding new features that address those needs and create a more equitable platform.

Building on this, today we’re launching LinkedIn in Hindi — the first Indian regional language on LinkedIn to support the vast Hindi-speaking community (more than 600 million) worldwide. With 82 million LinkedIn members, India is our second largest market.

Create your profile, find jobs in Hindi

You will now be able to create your LinkedIn profile in Hindi, making it easier for other Hindi-speaking members and recruiters to find you for relevant opportunities. You can also access the feed, jobs, messaging, and create content in Hindi.

As the next step, we’re working towards widening the range of job opportunities available for Hindi-speaking professionals across industries, including more banking and government jobs.

We understand that community and conversations are extremely personal, and so is language. To support more local language content, we will continue to add more Hindi publishers and creators to the platform over the coming months. Check out posts by some of our top Hindi publishers here and here, and to get the latest news and Hindi creators to follow, check out this Storyline here.

This is an exciting milestone, and we can’t wait to see how you unlock greater value from LinkedIn by using the platform in Hindi.

With the addition of Hindi, LinkedIn now supports 25 languages globally and we will continue to evaluate other regional languages as we strive to create equitable economic opportunities for every member of the workforce, and to help diverse professional communities come together on LinkedIn.

We look forward to your feedback over the next few months as we continue to improve the experience. New members can now sign up for LinkedIn in Hindi by visiting LinkedIn.com and registering for a new account.
